Community participation

We always adapt our design meeting format and modes of presentation to the size and type of client group involved. We use (3D) sketches and models to easily convey ideas to those unused to reading technical drawings. In addition we use computer aided design to present 3D drawings of design schemes.      

Training

Throughout the history of the practice, we have been involved in educational work, both theoretical and practical. We have run courses and taught for the following: Cardiff school of Architecture The Prince of Wales Institute of Architecture Centre of Alternative Technology,Powys. Earthen Design and Construction Consultancy

In the early years of our practice, we worked on site building rammed earth walls for various projects around the country. We gave talks, and ran many workshops, disseminating this knowledge. Nowadays, we are focused on high-end energy efficiency to have the greatest possible reduction in CO2 emissions with our projects.
